ILP Thrive helps individuals build skills, confidence, and independence for a brighter future.

Oak Grove is proud to be the new Independent Living Skills Program provider for Riverside County Department of Public Social Services. Our ILP is called THRIVE!

Our workshops will be informative but fun with plenty of rewards, food and the chance to meet new friends. Each ILP youth will be assigned to a Life Coach in order to provide individualized care and support while promoting permanency and helping you CONNECT.

THRIVE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Entertaining, engaging, and interactive workshops provide hands-on real-life experiences including, field trips, guest speakers, and special events with lots of rewards, raffle prizes and a chance to make new friends
One-on-One mentoring, accountability, and individualized case-management through weekly access to the Life Coach
Promotes permanency through positive relationships between the Youth and the Life Coach, and by facilitating connections within the Youth’s community as well as to others
Instills vital life skills necessary for healthy lifestyles and becoming a successful adult
Produces well-rounded individuals by also addressing mental, emotional, and physical health needs
Evidenced based curriculum caters to the youth by accommodating needs and abilities.
Program flexibility – Youth can participate in the program by attending workshops, individual sessions, and drop-in hours
Support for high school completion, post-secondary education, career development, employment seeking, and money management
Participation Incentives are awarded at each class, at the end of each 10-week quarter, and upon program completion
